I’m Chef David Schoen, and I’m so excited for you to try Rice Browns.

I’ve been a culinary explorer since the 1990s. My Rice Browns recipes are inspired by my varied experience, and I’d love to hear about what you create!

Here’s the latest Rice Browns idea from my kitchen.

Chef David opened his first restaurant, Pangea Bistro, in Chicago, IL in 2001. It was acclaimed for an eclectic, playful approach to American cuisine and set the course for Chef David’s entrepreneurial journey.

In 2003, he went on to open Wasabi Sushi Lounge in Panama City, Panama. Chef David collaborated with Japanese chef Hideo Ishii-San in designing an authentic Japanese menu, creating what E-Entertainment called “the best sushi in Latin America.”

David started Knife & Grill in 2010 — a company focused on catering, private training, and bringing new culinary products to the market. 2015 saw the invention of the Selfie Cork, a universal bottle stopper that turns almost any bottle into a mono-pod for hands-free pictures and videos.

David is in the process of bringing new and exciting products to market. He designs and develops new culinary concepts while consulting for bars and restaurants.
